Looking for a nice evening on the town? Come join Boys Hope Girls Hope for their 11th Annual Evening of Hope. This year’s Evening of Hope will take place in Costa Mesa at the Westin Hotel and the Orange County Performing Arts Center on November 23, 2008. The evening will begin at 4:00 p.m. with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and dinner at the elegant Westin South Coast Plaza. The Color Purple performance will take place directly across the street at the Orange County Performing Arts Center for the 6:30 p.m. curtain time. Tickets for the event are $350 and include cocktails, dinner and the show.
Attending this event will not only be a night you’ll never forget, but it will also be a night the boys and girls will not forget. All of the proceeds for the event will go straight to the Boys and Girls Hope homes.
What is Boys Hope Girls Hope you ask? Boys Hope Girls Hope is an unsung hero of social service and success, helping both children and families in Orange County. The organization helps academically capable and motivated children-in-need meet their full potential by providing value-centered, family like homes, opportunities and education through college.
Unlike foster care and similar government funded services that release kids from programs at the age of 18, Boys Hope Girls Hope’s support continues on after high school through college and beyond. Boys Hope Girls Hope has been able to turn at-risk kids into successful and independent adults while maintaining the bonds of family.
The program focuses on holistic health by providing the framework for children to achieve social, intellectual, emotional, spiritual and physical well-being.
This holiday season, help build a brighter future for the children of Orange County. If you would like to attend the event please call Boys Hope Girls Hope at (949)515-8833 and mention the Daily Pilot. If you are unable to attend the event, monetary donations are welcome year round.
