Adine N. Wulfekuhler
Longtime resident of Newport Beach, Adine Wulfekuhler
passed away October 9, 2008 at Hoag Memorial Hospital.
Adine was born December 25, 1918 in Chicago, IL to Leo J. and
Marion Murphy. She lived in California most of her life and has
kept in touch with high school friends from southern California.
She was a buyer for Ohrbach’s Department Store until her
marriage to Louis W. Wulfekuhler on October 18, 1967. They
resided in North Hollywood until his death in 1973.
Adine relocated to Newport Beach, and began a second career as a
real estate agent. She enjoyed traveling and entertaining.
She is survived by relatives from her husband’s family, all residing
in Lincoln, CA: daughter-in-law Jennie Wulfekuhler, and
grandchildren Diana Owens (husband Jim Owens), and Arrolyn
Garza. Also her great-grandchildren: Brandon, Callia and Travis
Owens; and Kelika Garza.
Per Adine’s wishes, there will be no memorial service. Donations
may be made in her honor to a favorite charity.
