Networks to air candidate debates until Nov. 4

On Nov. 4, Newport Beach and Costa Mesa will have six newly elected City Council members — three for each city.

If you want to be involved in deciding who they are, but you feel you need more information to make an intelligent decision, there are a few ways to get it.

In Newport Beach, the West Newport Beach Assn.’s forum will air at 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays from now until Nov. 4 on Time Warner channel 3 or Cox channel 30 or 852.

In Costa Mesa, both the Eastside Neighbors Group’s forum and the Chamber of Commerce forum will air at a variety of times from now until Nov. 4 on Time Warner Channel 24 and on the city’s website, ci.costa-mesa.ca.us.
