2008 Chili Cook-off Big Success

The Boys & Girls Club of the Harbor Area would like to thank Jeff McKinney, Diana Hirst, and Hi-Time Wine Cellars for their continued support and dedication. On August 24, 2008, Hi-Time Wine Cellars held their 2nd Annual Charity Chili Cook-off, with the proceeds going to the Boys & Girls Club.

With their generosity, the Boys & Girls Club located in Costa Mesa and Newport Beach have denefitted greatly. The event was held in the parking lot of Hi-Time’s, located at 250 Ogle Street in Costa Mesa. The Cook-off was a hugh success and ultimately raised over $10,000. The Boys & Girls Club of the Harbor Area would also like to thank the community for another successful and fun event.

The Winners of the 2008 Chili Cook-off are Harborside (Grand Champion), The Alley (People’s Choice Award), and Rudy’s Pub and Grill (Best Thematic Presentation).
