When buying electronics, be wise

When you purchase electronics at a local retailer such as Circuit City or Frys Electronics, make sure you have made the right choice. Usually, you can return the product within 15 or 30 days. There may be a restocking fee. Here are some great tips to remember.

*Try to buy a product that isn’t refurbished, used, or returned.

*If your are buying from an online retailer such as amazon or eBay, make sure there is a return policy, check their rating or feedback (if under 85% take caution), make sure you know that you’re getting a good deal, and make sure that there isn’t any loopole in the description.

*If you are a victim of fraud or you are not getting what the website said you’d get, call the retailer or police immediately.

Earlier, I bought a laptop computer and it crashed because it was refurbished. The battery wasn’t even new! Luckily, I still had time on the return date and read the service contract.
