Talk on author’s book set in Newport is rescheduled

Former OC Metro editor Steven M. Thomas will speak about his new novel, “Criminal Paradise,” at the Newport Beach Central Library on Dec. 2. The date has been rescheduled from Oct. 15.
Thomas’ book is set in Newport Beach and features scenes at several local spots.
“Criminal Paradise” is Thomas’ first novel.
Doors open at 6 p.m. There is no charge for this event, but a $10 donation is suggested. The lecture and a question-and- answer session will start at 7 p.m. and a book signing will begin at 8 p.m.
