Louise Cataldo

Louise Cataldo

born April 7, 1917

Louise passed away peacefully at Town Manor Hospice Care in

Orange, California, on the morning of September 30, 2008 where

she was receiving care for the last few months.

Louise was the widow of Nicolas B. Catalda of Brooklyn, New York.

They met when Louise was 17 years old and were married for 59

years. Louise and Nick moved to California in the early 60’s and

raised their family in north Santa Ana, then eventually retired to

Anaheim Hills.

Louise was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister (eldest of 8

siblings) and friend. Louise dedicated her life to her children. She

was an avid reader and an excellent cook and enjoyed gathering her

family around the dinner table.

Three children, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren

survive her.

J. Cataldo, husband of Nancy of Newport Beach, Ca. Daughter

Michele Cataldo of Manhattan Beach, Ca. Granddaughter, Laurie

Saunders, wife of Dave of Del Mar, Ca. great-grandchildren Andrew,

Jessica and Timothy. Granddaughter, Patricia Ghiselli, wife of John

of Manhattan Beach, Ca. great-grandchildren Katie, William and

Molly.

Granddaughter, Christina Reynolds, wife of Bob of Houston, Texas

and grandson Nicholas Cataldo of New York, NY.

Celebration of life memorial will take place on October 24 at Pacific

View Memorial Park in Corona Del Mar, Ca.
