Soccer team looking for new players
The North Huntington Beach Soccer Club’s girls’ Under-15 Silver/Bronze team is looking to add two or three new players to its roster.
Team practices and matches are held at Hope View School in Huntington Beach.

Marina youth hoops camp begins Monday
A Youth Basketball Camp debuts Monday at the Marina High gymnasium.
The camp runs through July 10. Instruction will take place between 8:30 and 10 a.m. daily.

Edison summer camp opens June 23
Edison High head football coach Dave White will hold a youth summer football camp for players grades three through eight June 23-27 at the school’s varsity practice field.
Campers will be taught technique and skills for all offensive and defensive positions, utilizing individual and group instruction by the Edison coaching staff.
No physical contact or conditioning will take place at the camp.
Camp times are as follows:
?Grades six through eight: 10 a.m. to noon
?Grades three through five: 1 to 3 p.m.
The cost is $100 per participant and includes a T-shirt. All participants are asked to bring athletic shorts, socks, cleats and bottled water.

West Football Camp set for July
West Football Camp will stage its next camp July 26-27 at Edison High.
The preseason speed and fundamentals camp will instruct local youth ages 6 to 14 in running mechanics, speed development, skills, agility and ply metrics.
Both one-on-one and seven-on-seven tournaments will take place during the camp. Pop Warner Football and Jr. All-American Football players are welcome.
The camp will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Edison football field. The cost is $125 per person.
