What bugs you at the beach?

EDITOR’S NOTE: Summer’s nearly here so we asked you sun worshipers for tips on beach courtesy. Whether it’s the proverbial bully kicking sand in your 98-pound weakling face or griping about the 909ers, we got a variety of responses.

“What bugs me is when you’re surfing and you come in and someone’s standing there and you are going right for them and your board is going right for them and they don’t move. You could just go under the water, and they just stand there and then you hit them and they’re mad and your like, ‘Hey I was on the line.’ It’s horrible. Or when [a person’s] towel is full of sand, [they] shake it, and you’re right next to them and there’s sand in your face and it’s everywhere and you’re like, ‘There’s wind here and you just threw your sand in my face. And it’s in my face.’ I hate that.”
