YOUTH SCENE:
HOCKEY
Jake Gealy’s goal with 18 seconds to play clinched a victory Monday in Smythe Division play for the Ducks, who defeated the Kings, 6-4, at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.
Gealy led the Ducks with three goals and an assist. Jack McKeown scored twice and Cameron Graichen once. Casey Taylor and Mitchell Hodges each had an assist.
Tyler Gealy recorded 17 saves.
Tyler McLuckey, Julia Wong, Kirsten Schaefer and Joseph Loya scored for the Kings.

In other Smythe Division action
Sharks 7, Psychos 6
Matthew Wightman’s goal with 1:43 remaining in the third period broke a tie score and gave the Sharks a 7-6 victory over the Psychos.
It was the third score of the game for Wightman whose first goal gave the Sharks a 1-0 lead and second goal gave his team a 4-2 lead in the second period.
Trenton Shehan, Blake Luevano and Tanner Osterkamp also scored for the Sharks.
Logan Matsunaga had 19 saves.
Cole Kennedy and Chris Pabitzky of the Psychos tied Wightman for game scoring honors with three goals each.
Corey Childers finished with 13 saves.
Puckhogs 6, Renegades 4
The Puckhogs took a 5-2 lead into the third period and went on to defeat the Renegades.
Andrew Armstrong, Garrett Felix, Amanda Vongries and Dylan Reightley scored for the Puckhogs. Jesse Mellema had 13 saves.
Tommy Spencer scored twice, and Aaron Cree and Christopher Ramirez each had a goal for the Renegades.

LITTLE LEAGUE
The Dodgers and Red Sox combined for five home runs Saturday in Majors Division play at Huntington Valley Little League in a game won by the Dodgers, 17-8. Jake Weiser, Tyler Murray, George Gleason, Ryan Fishel and Dylan McCarthy homered for the Dodgers and Garrett Garcia homered for the Red Sox.
