IRVINE — Sophomore forward Kelly Cochran had a game-high 18 points and added 13 rebounds as the Anteaters notched their first Big West Conference win of the season Thursday at UCI.

Senior forward Stephanie Duda had 15 points and 16 rebounds, tallying her conference-best 12th double-double for the ’Eaters (5-16, 1-6). Senior forward Miranda Forry also had 15 points for UCI, which broke a 12-game losing streak.

Cal State Northridge dropped to 0-17, 0-7.

Freshman guard Kelsey Carlson had 14 points, senior forward Melissa Cook added 11 points and junior forward Lauren Gregory and freshman guard Sarah Boyd chipped in 10 points each for Vanguard (13-3, 9-1 in conference).
