PET OF THE WEEK

CLARENCE
Clarence, a male white tabby cat, is up for adoption from the Community Animal Network this week. Clarence’s Christmas wish is to find a home for the new year, and he can be seen this weekend at the network’s adoption site.
Last week’s pet, Big Ben, was adopted by a Newport Beach family who gave the affectionate cat a home.
“Ben has fit right into the family,” Community Animal Network founder DiAnna Pfaff-Martin said.
Wonder, the tabby Maine coon kitten, will receive his eyelid reconstructive surgery Jan. 12 thanks to donations and the Community Animal Network.
Donations are still being accepted to help Wonder, and the kitten is still looking for adopters to welcome him to a new home.
Community Animal Network has pet adoptions every Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. outside Russo’s Pet Experience in Fashion Island. To volunteer your time, call 949.533.0411. To make a donation, mail checks — referenced with tax ID No. 33-0971560 — to Community Animal Network, P.O. Box 8662 Newport Beach, CA, 92658.
