Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian has named Stephen Jones, the chairman and chief executive of the real estate firm Snyder Langston, as the new chairman of its board of directors.
Jones replaced Richard M. Ortwein, who chaired the board since 2004 and remains on as a member. Jones joined the board’s Facilities Design and Construction Committee in 2001 to help create the Women’s Pavilion and was asked to join the board itself the following year. During his five years as a board member, he has served on the Executive and Strategic Planning committees.
“We look forward to experiencing Steve Jones’ leadership as chair of the Hoag Hospital Board,†Hoag President and Chief Executive Richard Afable said in a release.
In addition, Hoag appointed two new members to its board of directors: Gary S. McKitterick, a partner at the Allen Matkins Leck Gamble Mallory and Natsis law firm, and Martin J. Fee, an infectious disease specialist who joined Hoag in 1994 and also runs a private practice.
