CIF tennis postponed

The CIF Southern Section Individuals girls’ tennis championships were again postponed Friday due to rain.
The Corona del Mar High doubles teams of Hailey Hogan and Melissa Matsuoka, as well as Danielle Kaiden and Paige Polizois, were scheduled to begin semifinal play at Seal Beach Tennis Center on Friday at 10:30 a.m. But, for the second straight Friday, section officials postponed the matches.
Semifinal play is scheduled for Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Seal Beach Tennis Center, with the championship match to follow.
The forecast indicates a 10% chance of rain Tuesday.
No. 2-seeded Hogan and Matsuoka are to face Molly Aloia and Haley Dixon of Great Oak (Temecula) in one semifinal. In the other, Kaiden and Polizois will go up against No. 1-seeded Brynn Boren and Kristina Smith of Dana Hills.
