Costa Mesa Emergency Services workers will show their stuff for the 2007 Expo at Fire Station No. 4, next to Estancia High School, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today.
The demonstrations allow residents to get a first-hand view of fire extinguishment, a high-rise rescue and a police dog exercise.
Newport Beach police and firefighters will entertain guests at a “Public Safety Day†from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Newport Center Fire Station and Police Headquarters.
Guests are invited to take tours of the stations. Live demonstrations start at noon. Food and drinks will be on sale, with profits benefiting the Orange County Burn Assn.
