Pauley, Jan (79)

of Irvine, born October 27, 1927 in Indiana, passed away July 9, 2007 in La Canada Flintridge, California. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Richard H. Pauley.

She is survived by her son, Tyler Pauley; daughter, Elysa Del Guercio (Stephen); grandsons, Chris Del Guercio and Jordan Del Guercio; granddaughter, Camaryn Del Guercio; sister-in-law, Dana House (Robert); nephew, Gregory Snodgrass (Kathleen); niece, Kristin Snodgrass; great nephews, William Snodgrass and Peter Snodgrass.

Jan will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and adventurous sense of fun. She was admired for her positive outlook on life as well as her calm acceptance of life’s adversities. She was a “people collector”, with a unique ability to connect with others. Jan was deeply interested in the world around her - experiencing it through travel, her many activities, and especially the friends and family she loved.

The Memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, July 21, 2007, at Pacific View Memorial Chapel, 3500 Pacific View Drive, Corona Del Mar, CA
