Donate food items to receive free fair admission
- Share via
Visitors to the upcoming Orange County Fair will receive free same-day admission by bringing five nonperishable food items on July 18.
Items such as canned soup, tuna, peanut butter and cereal can be taken to any of the fair entrances.
Donations will benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County, the largest hunger-relief organization in the county. The food bank will then distribute them to about 400 local charities that feed the needy.
The Food Bank hopes to surpass last year’s drive at the fair which generated over 31,000 pounds of food.
