Local design firm chosen to renovate Palm Desert shop

H. Hendy Associates, a Newport Beach-based interior design firm, has been selected to renovate the She She apparel boutique in Palm Desert.

The 26-year-old firm, which has created architectural designs for Nike, Verizon, Rockwell Collins and others, is expected to finish work on She She in August.

The store caters to a clientele of young women and also offers clothes for men and children.

H. Hendy’s design for the store includes ceiling installations with polka-dot diffused lighting elements, white tile floors and She She’s butterfly logo displayed prominently outside.

“There’s no other boutique in the area like She She, and H. Hendy Associates has developed a design that demonstrates that,” said Eve Katofsky, the boutique’s owner, in a news release. “I loved their ideas and love the collaboration.”
