SHORT TAKES:Roger’s Gardens to exhibit plein-air artists for benefit
- Share via
Roger’s Gardens is set to exhibit the work of 20 plein-air artists as part of the 2007 Heritage Exhibition and Sale, which benefits the Capistrano Valley Conservancy and the Irvine Ranch Land Reserve Trust. The fundraiser will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
The artists painted original pieces as part of the fundraiser in 10 protected sites in the 50,000-acre Irvine Ranch Land Reserve, including Crystal Cove.
At Roger’s Gardens, the artists will participate in a “quick draw paint off,” in which they’ll paint scenes in the seven acres of Roger’s Gardens. Those original pieces will also be auctioned at the end of the evening Thursday.
Roger’s Gardens will donate all of its net proceeds to the conservancy and trust.
