Ron Trautman
11/26/47- 4/21/07
Ron Trautman was born November 26, 1947 in Santa Ana. He grew up in Cypress, the oldest of three boys, and graduated from Magnolia High School in 1965. Following in the foot steps of his father, grandfather and great-grandfather his career as an ironworker began shortly after graduation. He moved to Hawaii several years later and met Jaynee who was vacationing there.A year later when he came home to attend his 10 year high school reunion he asked her to be his wife. They married on October 18, 1975 and enjoyed 31 ½ years together. Their son Nick was born in 1978 and Ron loved being a dad, becoming involved in Nick’s sports and surfing with his son. He was blessed with an early retirement at age 55 in August 2003. He loved his retirement years because he finally had time to pursue his favorite hobbies: surfing, playing music, playing with his grandchildren, taking long walks with his wife Jaynee and of course doing “honey-do†projects around the house. He played drums in two blues bands - Blue Daddy and HB Blues. Last Friday night as he was playing a gig at Martini Blues in town he was called home by Jesus and left us to be in the presence of God. Although we mourn his loss we rejoice because he is in heaven experiencing eternity with our Lord and King.
