BOYS’ GOLF
Estancia TournamentCOSTA MESA — Andrew Skjonsby shot even on par 71 with four birdies to help lead the Newport Harbor High boys’ golf team to a third-place finish at the Mesa Verde Country Club Monday.
The tournament, which consisted of four-man teams, was based on points coming from birdies, which were three points, and making par, which was one point. The Sailors finished with 64 points behind champion Sunny Hills (72) and second-place Brea (71).
Also scoring for Newport Harbor were Bryce Greeley (74), who had three birdies, Justin Morehead (76) and Chase Bear (80), who had one birdie.
