The following is from the daily log of the Laguna Beach Police Department from Wednesday, Feb. 21, through Tuesday, Feb. 27.
TUESDAY
Ocean Avenue: At 8:25 p.m., a Palmdale man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication in the 2300 block.
Park Avenue: At 2:49 p.m., a student’s saxophone was reported stolen from a school in the 600 block.
So. Coast Highway: At 2:44 p.m., a woman pedestrian was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle at Legion Street.
Coast Highway: At 10:54 a.m., a beached dolphin was reported in front of the lifeguard tower in the 33000 block of the beach.
MONDAY
Glenneyre Street: At 9:23 p.m., three woman and two men were cited after they were alleged to be camping in an underground parking structure in the 300 block.
Broadway: At 12:25 p.m., medical aid was given as a result of injuries due to a traffic collision in the 300 block.
Park Avenue: At 1:27 p.m., eggs were reported to have been thrown at a vehicle near a school in the 600 block.
Laurel Lane: At 10:35 a.m., an account was alleged to have been opened fraudulently in the name of a woman in the 31000 block.
Eighth Avenue: At 10:47 a.m., grand theft was reported in the 31800 block.
Castle Rock Road: At 11:13 a.m, an employee was reported to have used a company credit card fraudulently to charge at least $114 in the 20900 block.
Tree Top Lane: At 8:38 a.m., paint-balling was reported at a school in the 21000 block.
Shaw’s Cove: At 12:31 a.m., an Anaheim man and a Buena Park man were arrested on suspicion of drug possession in the 1000 block.
SUNDAY
Canyon View Drive: At 10:48 p.m., flames were reported coming out of a chimney — determined to be due to “fireplace overload” — at a home in the 600 block.
So. Coast Highway: At 11:15 p.m., keys were reported stolen from a hotel in the 600 block.
Coast Highway: At 5:09 p.m., children were reported throwing rocks at a beached seal, but it was later determined that they were throwing food at the seal, in the 31100 block.
So. Crescent Bay Beach: At 5:50 p.m., a person was taken to the hospital with a possible broken leg after an incident in the 1300 block.
Jasmine Street: At 3:31 p.m., an El Monte man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after he was observed yelling on a bench near Cliff Drive.
Glenneyre Street: At 11:39 a.m., a person was arrested on suspicion of drug possession in the 800 block.
Catalina Street: At 11:20 a.m., a car window was forced open and an Ipod and global positioning system taken, in the 1400 block.
Flora Street: At 9:15 a.m., a vehicle was reported burglarized in the 500 block.
Flora Street: At 10:37 a.m., a vehicle was reported burglarized in the 400 block.
SATURDAY
Main Beach: At 8:43 p.m., someone turned into police crystal meth and needles found in the 100 block of the beach.
Laguna Canyon Road: At 5:40 p.m., a Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after police were summoned to the scene due to a possible head injury in the 1000 block.
Laguna Canyon Road: At 3:04 p.m., items were reported stolen from a truck at a club in the 20000 block.
So. Coast Highway: At 10:33 a.m., a Laguna Beach homeless man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication in the 500 block.
Laguna Canyon Road: At 8:06 a.m., a motorcyclist was taken to Mission Hospital after going down in the 20000 block.
Diamond Street: At 3:16 a.m., a man was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the 100 block.
Glenneyre Street: At 2:07 a.m., a man was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the 400 block.
Diamond Street: At 1:44 a.m., an Upland man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at So. Coast Highway.
FRIDAY
Temple Hills Drive: At 5:28 p.m., fraudulent charges on someone’s account were reported in the 2300 block.
Beverly Street: At 2:16 p.m., it was reported that someone tried to get a store credit card in the victim’s name in the 200 block.
So. Coast Highway: At 9:46 a.m., a 30-year-old Texas man was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at a market in the 700 block.
Broadway: At 2:08 a.m., a man was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the 300 block.
THURSDAY
Ceanothus Drive: At 6:19 p.m., it was reported that fraudulent accounts had been opened in the 31000 block.
Coast Highway: At 1:32 p.m., a license plate was reported stolen at a hospital in the 31000 block.
Heisler Park: At 12:15 p.m., a woman and a dog were given medical aid after the woman fell on cactus and was bleeding, and the dog was also injured in the park.
Glenneyre Street: At 10:47 a.m., it was reported that three pairs of shoes were taken from a doorstep over the past few days in the 600 block.
WEDNESDAY
So. Coast Highway: At 11:50 p.m., a Temecula man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication in the 400 block.
So. Coast Highway: At 11:04 a.m., a Chino hills man was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the 2300 block.
Grandview Street: At 9:18 p.m., fraudulent charges on an account were reported in the 200 block.
Forest Avenue: At 7:06 p.m., a woman’s keys were retrieved by city workers after falling down a storm drain in the 300 block.
La Mirada Street: At 6:08 p.m., identity theft was reported in the 800 block.
So. Coast Highway: At 4:45 p.m., two juveniles were cited on suspicion of tobacco possession in the 1400 block.
Broadway: At 12:57 p.m., an injured squirrel was reported but was gone when police arrived, near Forest Avenue.
So. Coast Highway: At 8:03 a.m., an alarm alerted police to a forced entry at a business in the 1800 block.
Coast Highway: At 8:04 a.m., a skunk was taken into custody at Moss Street.
