Seven locals are named all-league

A total of seven players from Edison and Marina were named to the All-Sunset League girls’ water polo team for the 2006-07 season.

Heading the list was senior Sarah Roberts of Newport Harbor, who was named the league’s player of the year.

Bill Barnett of Newport Harbor, which won the Sunset title, was named league’s coach of the year.
