A highly successful season ended for Laguna when it fell, 3-2, to Calvary Chapel on Feb. 8. in an Orange League one-game playoff match that determined the league’s final entry into the CIF playoffs.

Courtney Capobianco and Laura Renault scored and Lauren Caris recorded 11 saves for Laguna.

“Of course we were disappointed with the loss, but the girls left everything on the field in that game,” Laguna Coach Bill Rolfing said. “I’m very proud of this team.”
