Orange Coast 78, El Camino 52
GLENDALE — The Pirates relied on hot shooting in the second half from sophomore guard Miguel Gonzalez Saturday to win the consolation championship of the eight-team Glendale Tournament at Glendale Community College.
Gonzalez hit three from beyond the arc to account for 15 of his game-high 18 points after the break.
Super-sub Joe Nwabuzor chipped in 12 points for Orange Coast (7-7). It was his second straight 12-point game.
Freshman Diego Delgado hit a second half three-pointer and ended with 11 points.
The Pirates made 12 three-pointers to help secure the victory.
