More than $500,000 given to College

The Laguna College of Art & Design received a $530,000 donation from San Jose-area artist and teacher Gary Post, who died last May at the age of 62. Honoring Post’s request, the donation has been added to the college’s endowment fund, where it will be used to provide financial aid to future students in Gary Post Scholarship awards.

The college’s endowment fund is now in excess of $1.1 million, the largest in its history.
