The Huntington Beach Jr. Clinic Oilers Black went to South Gate Saturday to open their 2006 Jr. All-American Football season, and returned home with an impressive 33-0 victory over the host Rams.

Huntington began to roll in the second quarter, getting a key run from Jackson McCleery that set up a five-yard touchdown run by Bowen Blake. After recovering a fumble by the Rams, the Oilers turned the miscue into another score on a run by Cade Bernard. Liam Jimmons and Ethan Redira led the blocking up front on the touchdown drive.

Brennan Apodaca scored a touchdown and then a two-point conversion before the first half ended.
