HIGH SCHOOL ROUNDUP: Corona del Mar remains undefeated

CORONA DEL MAR — The Corona del Mar High doubles teams of Lindsay Zotovich and Hailey Hogan, as well as Flora Lee and Danielle Kaiden both swept three sets to lead the Sea Kings to the nonleague girls tennis victory over Marlborough Wednesday.
Corona del Mar senior twins Hayley and Miranda Young won 12 of 13 games in their two doubles sets to improve to 8-0 this season, Sea Kings Coach Brian Ricker said.
CdM improved to 3-0, heading into today’s showdown at Troy.

SANTA ANA — Junior Kendall Horn and freshman Lauren Draganza both shot seven-over-par 41 to lead the Sailors to the nonleague win Wednesday at Riverview Golf Club.
Tiffany Kim (43), Ali Thomas (45) and Morgan Moody (46) also scored for the Sailors (3-1).

NORTH HOLLYWOOD — The Sea Kings saw a 6-4 lead disappear in the fourth quarter in their nonleague season opener Wednesday.
Senior Mike Barry led CdM with four goals, while Ryan Hultman had two and Brian Peotter had 11 saves.

COSTA MESA — Estancia High lost its season opener in a five-game match, 21-25, 25-14, 25-20, 17-25, 15-12, to Irvine High in a nonleague match Tuesday.
The Eagles (0-1) missed four serves in the fifth game leading to their demise. Estancia had three players with double figure kills, led by junior Sarah Braunsdorf with 13, senior Jaye Hellmich with 12 and sophomore Annie Tomasek with 11.
BOYS’ WATER POLO
Sage Hill 19, Rancho Alamitos 10
CORONA DEL MAR — Junior Jimmy Miller had a team-high six goals for the Lightning (2-0) in a nonleague home game on Tuesday.
Danny Harold and Michael Chiboucas each had five goalie saves for Sage Hill, which plays at Mater Dei on Monday.
