WALK OR RUN
This is an opportunity to take part in a guided three-mile walk or run on Sundays. Men, women, children, walkers and runners are welcome. Warm-up and stretching starts at 9 a.m.; the run and walk begin after that. The Nike store will provide water, snacks and a workout journal, and will hold a monthly raffle. Please RSVP. FAMILY FILM ON THE BEACH
The Newport Dunes Resort invites the public for “Movies on the Beach” every Friday and Saturday evening at the resort, 1131 Back Bay Drive, Newport Beach. OCC FRIDAY NIGHT FILM SERIES
Orange Coast College will start the third season of its Friday Night Film Series with “Casablanca.” A total of 28 films will be shown between Friday and August of next year. Films begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Building, Room 119. The ticket price is $6, $5 for seniors and OCC students.
