PHOTO OF THE WEEK And they call the thing rodeo

Sunday on the last day of the Orange County Fair was a happy and festive event. Barbecue grills puffed smoke from beneath their lids, and people dressed up sharply in denim and cowboy hats.

Without much time before the rodeo began, I planted myself on the open walkway next to the arena ? that’s where the bull riders were popping out of the gates. Luckily, the youngsters were out of the gates first. Sam Williams had a good ride, stayed on for a while and allowed me to shoot a nice sequence of his ride. Perfect. I headed back to the office with a nice picture.
