Monstars outlast Bulldogs

Jonathan Pichedwatana scored off an assist from Alexander Gomez in the third period to break a tie and send the Monstars to a 4-3 victory over the Bulldogs at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.

It was the second consecutive goal scored by Pichedwatana, who tied the Bulldogs’ David Wellander for scoring honors as each finished with two goals in the Norris Division match.

Nikolas St. Onge and Justin Pichedwatana also scored for the Monstars, and Jake Grothjan finished with 30 saves.

Riley Draghi had a goal and an assist, and Jesse Mellema notched 29 saves for the Bulldogs.
