‘Eaters toy with Tigers, 18-5

STOCKTON ? The UC Irvine women’s water polo team dominated Pacific, 18-5, in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation clash Sunday.
Sarah Frost led the No. 9-ranked Anteaters (16-11, 5-6 in the MPSF) with four goals, while Robyn Kaake and Gianna Rossi added three apiece.
UCI led, 5-0, after one period and upped the advantage to 7-0 before the Tigers (0-18, 0-10) scored their first goal.
Eight players scored for UCI, including Julia Fancher, Jackie Prine and Kelsey Haroldson with two goals apiece.
Megan Braun made five saves and Laure Machanis two for the Anteaters.
