LORETTA E. BERGERON
Services for longtime Costa Mesa resident Loretta E. Bergeron will be held Thursday and Friday. She died at 82 of diabetes Saturday in Chula Vista.
A resident of Costa Mesa for 55 years, Bergeron worked as a nurse and belonged to the Zonta Club of Newport Beach and the Newport Harbor Emblem Club No. 394, of which she was a past president.
Bergeron is survived by two sons, Stephen Bergeron of Long Beach and Richard “Rick” Bergeron of Huntington Beach; and three daughters, Nanette Bergeron of Costa Mesa, Marianne Sparks of Danville, Calif., and Michele Koleto of Colorado Springs, Colo.
A rosary and vigil are at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at McCormick & Son Mortuary’s chapel in Laguna Hills. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Huntington Beach, with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
ELOISE M. HERTFORD
Eloise M. Hertford, a 32-year Corona del Mar resident, died Monday of pneumonia. She was 92.
Hertford was born Oct. 29, 1914, in Los Angeles. She is survived by her nephew, Joe Villasenor; great-nephews, David Russell and Dale Villasenor, and great-nieces, Debbie Russell and Christy Clarke.
Services are at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Pacific View Mortuary with an interment following at the Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills Cemetery in Los Angeles. There will be a viewing before the service from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
