Kids raise cancer funds

Local schools participate in effort to support Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.Several Huntington Beach schools have signed up to participate in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s school and youth programs this spring.

Students will learn the value of community service while collecting change and raising money to help support the society’s research and patient services. Top fundraising schools will be eligible to win prizes such as electronics or sports equipment.

Local schools participating include: Smith Elementary, Circle View Elementary, Harbour View Elementary, Hope View Elementary, Huntington Beach High School, Moffett Elementary, Huntington Seacliff Elementary, Coastline Christian School and Clegg Elementary.
