Breakers take down Blackhawks

Kowalski nets four goals in 7-0 win in Campbell Division action.The Breakers broke away from a scoreless first quarter in their Campbell Division match with the Blackhawks by scoring seven consecutive goals to record a 7-0 victory at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.
Kyle Kowalski started and ended the scoring spree by posting consecutive goals in the second and third periods. Goals were scored in between by Aaron Maccabi, Ian Gibbons and Alexander Taros.
Taros and Gibbons each had two assists, and Aaron Cree had one assist. Nolan Strout finished with nine saves.
In other Campbell Division action:
Hot Wheels 6, Rockets 2
Austin Martinez and Preston Yamasaki each scored two goals to help get the Hot Wheels past the Rockets.
Brandon Doyle and Samantha Springer also scored. Jacob Olson had two assists, and Doyle and Chris Chen added one assist each. Riley Draghi had 11 saves.
Cooper Haar and Tatum Coats scored for the Rockets. Nicholas Thompson and Parker Andrews each had an assist, and Max Votaw recorded 20 saves.
Bulldogs 1, Monstars 1
Karson Derego scored off a feed from Hunter Barrett in the third period as the Bulldogs rallied to tie the Monstars.
Tyler McLuckey scored an unassisted goal for the Monstars in the first period.
Dylan Zeglovitch had 27 saves for the Monstars, and David Wellander had 26 for the Bulldogs.
Kings 4, Rink Rats 4
Each team had four players score goals as the Kings and Rink Rats fought to a tie score.
Ian Bast, Kyle Breznau, Jake Shaylor and Austin Heilman scored for the Kings. Heilman and Clark Fordham had assists.
Lucia Procopio, Peter Skowron, Casey Rhodes and Trent Sievers scored for the Rink Rats. Rhodes also handed out a pair of assists, and Skowron and Kirsten Schaefer had one each.
Blake Walker recorded 12 saves.
