Young Guns squeeze out win

The Young Guns scored eight goals over the final two periods and held

off one last charge by OCB 93 to squeeze out a 10-9 victory in Pee

Wee Club Division play at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in

Huntington Beach.

Colten Daigneault scored five of the Young Guns’ goals, including

the 10th and deciding goal in the third period.

Gregory Williams contributed two goals and three assists, Tyler

Lakes had two goals and an assist, and Phillip Lyons scored once.

Brian Daigneault picked up a pair of assists and Colten Daigneault

had one assist.

Zachary Beko paced OCB 93 in scoring with five goals, followed by

Austin Shannon, who scored twice.

Goals by Luke Loggins and Shayne Nelson completed the scoring for

OCB 93.

Shannon led the squad in assists with four, and Nelson, Loggins

and Garrett Haar each had one assist.

In other Pee Wee Club Division action:

HB Vipers 9, OCB 93 4

Evan Sebastian and Jeff Fuzzard each scored three goals and

assisted on two others as the HB Vipers got past OCB 93.

Brett Shaver scored twice and Ryan Daley scored the final Vipers

goal and also had a pair of assists. Matt Bodziak had 13 saves in the

win.

OCB 93’s goals were scored by Shayne Nelson, Zachary Beko, Garrett

Haar and Austin Shannon. Shannon and Haar each had an assist.

In Mite Club

Division action:

OCB 95 13, HB Tornadoes 3

Six players scored for OCB 95 in a mercy rule win over the

Tornadoes.

Josh Duchon grabbed game-high scoring honors with four goals, and

Dylan Zeglovitch scored three times. James Andrews scored two goals,

and Ryan Schlerf and Jordan Sanders each added one.

Lauren Kilroy led OCB 95 with three assists, Duchon had two

assists, and Sanders and Schlerf each had one assist.

Trevor Scott scored two goals to lead the Tornadoes. Harry Ellis

scored the third goal.

HB Adrenaline 7, HB Vipers 96 3

Garrick Langer and Jeremy McHenry each scored two goals to lead

the Adrenaline.

Chase Lipscomb, Steven Rousseau and Blake Bowie also scored goals.

Ryan Dixon and Julien Laux each had two assists, and Langer, Connor

Lipscomb and Chase Lipscomb each had one assist.

David Mastro had 25 saves.

Zachary Beko scored all three goals for the HB Vipers 96, one

coming off an assist from Cole Redl.
