Flyers skate past the Bull Dogs

The Flyers had their game plan in near perfect order in defeating the

Bull Dogs, 10-0, in Adams Division play at Coast 2 Coast Inline

Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.

Offensively, Trent Sievers led the attack with six goals. Austin

Heilman dropped in three goals, and Casey Rhodes scored once.

Defensively, Nolan Strout recorded 14 saves to get the victory.

In other Adams Division action:

Hurricanes 4, Islanders 2

Jack Surdin scored twice to lead the Hurricanes in scoring.

Melissa Paniz scored once and had an assist, and Brandon Doyle had

a goal. Ian Bast finished with 21 saves in the win.

John Keegan scored both goals for the Islanders, and Austin Koss

was busy in the net and came up with 38 saves.

HB Storm 4, Dyno-Mites 1

Ismael Ralsten scored all four goals for the HB Storm in their win

over the Dyno-Mites. Each of Ralsten’s four goals were unassisted

scores.

Evan Gray had 20 saves for the HB Storm.

John Keegan scored unassisted for the Dyno-Mites, and Kirsten

Schaefer had 18 saves.

In Squirt Club Division action:

Red Bulls 9, HB Vipers 93 4

Five players got into the scoring act as the Red Bulls downed HB

Vipers 93.

Brad Brandenburg led the charge with three goals, followed by Alex

Borcich and Kyle Evans, each with two goals. Jeremy Jennings and

Dylan Verrastro also scored.

Jennings finished with two assists and Brandenburg and Bobby Sowma

each had one assist.

Trevor Evans scored twice to pace HB Vipers 93. Max Olin and Matt

Korn also scored, and Olin had an assist.

Cal Selects 4, Snipers 2

Cal Selects scored three of its four goals in the final period to

pull out the win. Megan Myers scored the final two goals for Cal

Selects.

Chas Scott and Shea Haselhorst each scored and Zac Witt had an

assist for the Snipers.

Vipers 92 4, HB Extreme 3

Zach Dickson scored off a Matthew Iacono feed late in the third

period to lift the Vipers 92 to victory.

Iacono scored two earlier goals, and Zachary Beko opened up the

scoring for Vipers 92. Austin Shannon had two assists, and Travis

Beckman had one assist.

Avi Press had 26 saves in the victory.

Colby Rios scored all three goals for HB Extreme, two on assists

from Zane Weber and Hunter Herrick.

Jason Smith had 34 saves.
