Islanders come on strong

The Islanders scored six goals during the final two periods and rode

that late offensive output to a 7-2 victory over the Flyers in Adams

Division play at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington

Beach.

The scoring onslaught was led by Anthony Martinez, who scored all

four of his goals during that six-goal stretch. Iris Chen and Jordan

Reichenbach also scored during the spurt.

Chris Chen scored the first goal for the Islanders. Austin Koss

recorded 17 saves for the win.

Nick Callanan scored for the Flyers and Nolan Strout also had 17

saves.

In other Adams Division matches:

Bull Dogs 6, HB Storm 6

The Bull Dogs scored five goals in the final period to pull out a

tie with the HB Storm.

Ismael Ralsten was a one-man scoring machine for the Storm with

six goals. Shayna Dahlen had an assist, and Evan Gray had 12 saves.

Cole Kennedy led the Bull Dogs with three goals. Jordan Bonner

scored twice, and Aaron Maccabi scored once.

Austin Dix had 13 saves.

Hurricanes 3, Dyno-Mites 3

Jack Surdin scored all three goals for the Hurricanes, including

two in the final quarter, as they rallied from two goals down to tie

the Dyno-Mites.

Matthew Paniz had an assist and Ian Bast finished with 16 saves.

Joseph Loya, Brandon Ha and John Keegan each scored unassisted

goals for the Dyno-Mites, and Kirsten Schaefer had 10 saves.
