Spend a great day fishing off the coast of Newport on board a Davey’s

Locker Sportfishing boat.

Davey’s Locker offers half-day, three-quarter-day and full-day

fishing trips daily that are perfect for everyone from amateurs to

pros.

If you need gear, stop in the tackle shop, where you can pick up

licenses, rods, reels and tackle for your trip.

On the boat, you can learn how to bait a hook, cast a line, and

reel in a fish. Davey’s Locker provides expert crew members who can

help with fishing issues. No need to bring bait -- there’s plenty of

live bait swimming around in vats on board.

You’ll most likely catch sand bass, sheephead, sculpin, bonito and

barracuda. At the end of the trip, crew members can clean and filet

your fish for a small charge.

Half-day fishing trips leave twice daily at 6 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Adults pay $31, while children and seniors pay $24.

Three-quarter-day fishing trips leave daily at 7 a.m. at a cost of

$48 for adults and $38 for children and seniors.

Full-day fishing trips leave at 10 p.m. and return at either 6

p.m. or 8 p.m. the following day.

Rentals for all fishing trips are the same: An adult tackle pack

with a license is $29, and a junior tackle pack is $17.50.

Tse (pronounced “say”) Cashmere has more than doubled in size

after moving to a new location in South Coast Plaza.

Tse is a European fashion house known for its premium cashmere and

fine fabrics. The classic designs for women include everyday

sweaters, perfectly tailored double-faced cashmere coats and

beautiful dresses.

Famous designers Narciso Rodriquez, Hussein Chalayan and Victor

Alforo have served as creative directors for Tse.

TRIP TO CHINA

If you’re looking for exquisite fine china you won’t see

everywhere else, visit Tiffany & Co. at South Coast Plaza.

Tiffany carries the work of the renowned Atelier Le Tallec, one of

the oldest hand-painted-porcelain studios in Paris.

The painstaking details are carried out by 12 artisans who have

mastered the technical intricacies of Le Tallec’s 200 patterns. Each

piece can take up to 10 hours to paint, and firing can take up to

eight days.

Twenty original hand-painted china designs are available

exclusively at Tiffany. Each design is a work of art, initialed and

dated by the artist.

Favorite themes of Le Tallec include flowers, scrolls and Chinese
