Skulls offense too much

The Skulls used a big offensive showing in the third period of their
Norris Division match against the Gladiators to post an 8-2 victory
at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.
The Skulls led, 3-1, after two periods but outscored the
Gladiators, 5-1, in the third period to pull away.
Kaylyn De Jongh of the Skulls led all scorers with three goals.
Patrick Baikie scored twice and Talon Werner, Sean Cullinane and
Dallas Borski each had one goal to complete the scoring for the
Skulls.
Jackson Browner finished with two assists and Cullinane, Borski
and Paige Gast each had one assist.
Jessica Baltazar recorded six saves.
Ben Sumner and Andrew Schenker each scored once, and Sumner and
Jake Grothjan each had an assist for the Gladiators.
Sam Prizler had seven saves.
In other Norris Division matches:
Blades 4, Thunder Blades 3
Two goals by Cody Sizemore and one each from Zak Show and Shane
Williams helped the Blades skate past the Thunder Blades.
Williams also led the team in assists with two, sharing one with
Sizemore.
Show, Travis Hunter and Adam Khouri each had an assist and Cameron
Platzman had 15 saves.
William Huffman led the Thunder Blades with two goals and an
assist.
Joshua Gruwell also scored and Andrew Huffman had an assist.
Joshua Fowler had 13 saves.
Wasabi 3, Rattlers 1
Wasabi scored all three of its goals in the third and final period
to come from one goal down to claim victory.
Adam Hess scored twice and Nick Panchak scored once in the
decisive period, and Steve Landis had a hand in all three assists.
David Panchak had 11 saves.
Savannah Patton finished with 22 saves for the Rattlers.
