Great Laundry becomes part of The Lab formula

Japan-based clothing store “Great Laundry” has opened its first

U.S. location at The Lab in Costa Mesa. The store features original

T-shirts designed by international artists and novelty items. The

boutique adds more urban-chic retail couture to the trendy stores at

The Lab, at 2930 Bristol St.

The Koll Co. expands operations to Riverside

The Koll Company, based in Newport Beach, is expanding into the

Inland Empire with the purchase of a 27-acre business park in

Riverside for $31.8 million. The 17-building Riverside Technology and

Business Park, will offer state and city tax incentives to qualifying

tenants in fast-developing areas. The Koll Company will provide

tenants with management and leasing services.

Give blood and go to the circus for free

Hoag Hospital has paired with the Ringling Bros. and Barnum &

Bailey Circus to offer blood donors two free tickets to the circus.

The blood drive is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and will

be held in Hoag’s Blood Donor Center on the second floor of the Hoag

Cancer Center. Donors can schedule an appointment by calling (949)

764-5621 or by walking in on the day of the blood drive.

Propane helps hungry Little Leaguers

Family-owned Propane Home Delivery LLC., of Long Beach, is

donating propane tanks to Little Leagues in Long Beach and Orange

County. The free tanks will enable Little League food stands to fire

up their barbecues at no cost, so they may retain more of their funds

and keep the food stands open during games for the hungry ball

players and their fans.
