JOB CENTER REHEARING
Opponents and supporters of Costa Mesa’s Job Center will square
off again Tuesday at a special City Council meeting. The council will
discuss whether to grant a request from resident Mike Berry for a
rehearing of the council’s April 5 decision on the center.
The council voted March 15 to close the center at the end of June
and earlier this month agreed to keep it open three more months while
supporters look for alternatives. The special meeting is scheduled
for 6 p.m. Tuesday in the council chambers at Costa Mesa City Hall,
77 Fair Drive.
