Sox blank Pirates

Big performances by Jonathan Steele and Jacob Rushing were the
catalysts for the Red Sox in their Seaview Little League Majors
Division meeting with the Pirates.
Steele recorded his first home run of the 2005 season and Rushing
pitched a one-hit shutout in leading the Red Sox to a 5-0 victory.
Rushing, Nolan Heyer, Quentin Moscaritolo and Matt Thiede also had
hits for the Red Sox.
Jacob Yusko tripled for the Pirates.
In other Majors Division action:
Cubs 11, Yankees 5
A trio of Cubs came up with multiple hits in a win over the
Yankees.
Chase Leamer had three hits with four RBIs, Clayton Mase had an
RBI double and a two-run triple and scored three runs, and Jack
Koeller singled twice with two RBIs and two runs scored.
Brendan Hartjoy scored three other runs for the Cubs. The pitching
win went to Perry Clitheroe.
Trevor Becker had three hits with an RBI double, and Ruben Munoz
had an RBI double and RBI triple to lead the Yankees on offense.
