New after-school club in the works

A meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the community room
of the Laguna Beach Library, 363 Glenneyre St., for local residents,
parents and educators to plan and discuss the forming of a new
after-school club.
The club will be designed to develop healthy self-esteem in young
people and help them to become informed, responsible and participant

Open Gathering focuses on spirituality
“Can We Talk About God? If So, How?” will be the topic of a
discussion led by the Rev. Tari Lennon at the next meeting of Open
Gatherings at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 28 at the Unitarian Universalist
Fellowship, 429 Cypress Drive.
The event is free and donations are welcome. Child care is

CAP to unveil latest sculpture
Community Art Project will unveil “Bulkhead,” a sculpture by
sculptor Hal Pastorius at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Bank of America
sculpture site at 299 Ocean Ave.
