Clinic gets funds from cancer group

$66,000 in grant funds to the Laguna Beach Community Clinic.
The money will help to provide low-income and un-insured women
access to breast exams, breast health education, counseling and case
management. The grant money was made available after the 2004 Komen
Orange County Race for the Cure, which raised $1.5 million.
Twenty-five percent of the money raised from the event contributes
to the Komen Foundation’s National Award and Research Grant Program,
