CdM wins finale

The AYSO Region 57 Corona del Mar boys under-12 team defeated Laguna

Niguel, 6-0, in CdM’s final game of the season.

Colton Gyulay scored two early goals, followed by a Kjell Wolker

goal. Taylor Ross, Brent Lawson, Mason Case, Jack Gorab, Stevie

Miller, Mikey Pawell, Jensen Rinehart and Blake Thomsen took numerous

shots on goal.

Mikey Pawell scored on a pass from Mason Case in the second half,

while Case scored on a penalty kick.

The defense was anchored by Brennan Anderson, Nick Curci, William

Morrow and Brent Gray, with Logan Newett in goal.

Newett finished with three saves.
