Governor makes fair board decision for Orange County

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has appointed Dale Dykema to the Orange

County Fair board of directors.

He will serve a four-year term and replaces Leslie “Teddie” Ray,

who was appointed in 2001. Dykema, of Newport Beach, is the founder,

chairman of the board, chief executive and majority stockholder of

T.D. Service Financial Corp. in Santa Ana. It provides value-added

technology and processing solutions to the mortgage banking industry.

Dykema is the chairman emeritus of the Lincoln Club of Orange

County and a member of the board of directors of the New Majority.

Both are moderate Republican groups.

The fair board comprises nine volunteers who set and approve

policies for the Orange County Fair & Exposition Center.
