Rainey
Rainey is an 8-month-old tortoiseshell kitten who was rescued from
a backyard when she was small. Rainey enjoyed being with her original
caregiver and playing with all the other kittens but would run away
and avoid her caregiver.
She needed a caregiver that would give her one-on-one attention
and would demand human interaction rather than just being able to
pursue active play with other cats.
Now, Rainey has received months of personal attention from Dan and
Jodie Roberts of Costa Mesa. Her intensive rehabilitation included
playing with humans rather than cats, being hand-fed rather than free
feeding and learning to love the human touch. Rainey would have been
considered unadoptable without the care Dan and Jodie gave her.
Now, Rainey craves attention and wants to play and interact but
will need an indoor home without children.
