A little cut and color

Delicious. That has to be the word for the Pilot story on the

increased crowds at salons during the holiday season. Everyone, it

seems, wants to look their best for the big holiday ball, that

company party (aren’t they just awful!) or maybe just a romantic

winter dinner for two.

And so, the salons are packed, crawling with poor creatures with

hair frizzing out of control, roots starting to show and nails

curling into unnatural curves.

It’s a stylist’s dream, and an aesthete’s delight, because

December and the New Year are filled with picture perfect hair,

makeup and nails.

Delicious indeed.

Finally, hats off -- we want to show off that fabulous ‘do -- to

Judy Kulp. For those who missed it or, gasp, can’t recall, she’s the

lady who drives to a Corona del Mar salon to get herself taken care

of.
