Grace M. Hind

Grace M. Hind of Laguna Hills died Nov. 5. She was 92.

Born in Lancaster, Penn., Mrs. Hind came to California with her

family in 1919. She was educated in Los Angeles and graduated from

UCLA in 1933.

She taught for six years at Olive Grammar School, now in Orange,

before meeting her husband, Edwin. The two were married in 1939 in

Laguna Beach.

Mrs. Hind taught as a substitute teacher in Laguna Beach while

raising her children. She was a member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood for

more than 50 years and an active member of the Laguna Presbyterian

Church since 1939.

Mrs. Hind is preceded in death by her husband and survived by her

sons, Jim of Laguna Beach and Rick of Long Beach; four grandchildren;

and two great-grandchildren.
